We proposed this project to a well-known American beauty brand that has collaborated with Gizmospring for many years to develop new beauty products. Occasionally, we present our own ideas for their consideration.
Our latest innovation, the Wavy electric hair curler, quickly preps neat, wavy hair. The device uses two half-cylinders that clamp and compress the hair while applying heat. By holding for 5-10 seconds, users can achieve luxurious, wavy hair every time.
In this phase, we conduct extensive research to gather insights from current trends and generate ideas tailored to our client’s existing brand products. We also develop strategies for future product development.
Based on our previous understanding and research, we prioritize our clients’ needs. We focus on finding off-the-shelf products that align with their brand identity, budget, and specifications.
In the final stage, we begin the redesign process, tailoring the product’s appearance to the brand’s requirements. At the end of the project, we deliver a comprehensive package that includes an industrial design, packaging design, and a shopping website concept.
We targeted young adult females between the ages of 22-35 as our primary audience. Our research indicated that this demographic resonates most with bold, high-saturation colors like yellow, blue, and pink. In our website design, we used yellow to represent joy, blue to evoke calmness, and pink to signify elegance. Additionally, the shape of the logo was inspired by the look of hair after using the device, creating a visual connection to the product’s function.
